Pokemon X and Y & Pokemon Red/Blue Graphics Evolution!

For all you Pokemon geeks like me, I’m sure y’all have all wondered what the future of Pokemon gaming will be like, or better yet how differently the graphics will be! Now i’ve owned a total of 8 version of the game and i’ve always wondered when the graphics would become…you know…fancier! Just recently announced GameFreak has announced that there are 2 new games coming out this year: Pokemon X and Pokemon Y. And if you haven’t noticed yet, there are some immense changes! Unlike most the previous generations, X and Y will be released for the 3DS…which means you have to buy a new DS if you want to play it! A lot of people are complaining about this, but let’s be honest a lot of the Pokemon games have been playable on the normal DS. I believe it’s about time for an upgrade especially after you see the new graphics they will offer!

Do you think it’s worth the upgrade for the new games or is it an attempt to sell more 3DS’s  with the help of the Pokemon franchise?
